A short refresher on filtered backprojection reconstruction for pCT

Abstract
This refresher will cover the current state-of-the-art in filtered backprojection reconstruction algorithms for proton computed tomography. The presentation will start from early works with radiographies acquired using detectors in integral mode. We will then focus on reconstruction algorithms which make use of an estimate of each proton path from list mode acquisitions, from the projective space to the object space. A few published comparisons between algorithms on simulated data will conclude this talk.
